1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing this website, purchasing FrameVault, or downloading or using the FrameVault application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use FrameVault.
“FrameVault,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator and developer of the FrameVault software and website. Questions about these terms may be sent to framevault@averiz.com.
2. The product
FrameVault is a macOS application for organizing Adobe Premiere project media, maintaining project connections, and creating backups on storage selected and controlled by the user.
You are responsible for confirming that your Mac, macOS version, Adobe Premiere version, storage, and workflow meet the product requirements described on our website. Software and third-party compatibility may change over time.
3. Purchases and payment
FrameVault is currently offered as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The price displayed before checkout does not include taxes unless expressly stated. Paddle calculates and collects applicable taxes during checkout.
Paddle is our merchant of record. Paddle processes payment, issues the payment receipt, and handles payment-related buyer support. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
You must provide accurate contact and payment information. Your FrameVault purchase ID is associated with the email address and transaction information supplied at checkout and may be used to provide support or confirm your purchase.
4. License to use FrameVault
Subject to these terms and successful payment, FrameVault grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased version of FrameVault for the purchaser’s own lawful personal or internal business purposes.
You may not sell, sublicense, rent, redistribute, publish, or make FrameVault or its download available to others. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent security or licensing features except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
A purchase ID confirms a purchase and assists with support. It does not transfer ownership of FrameVault or its intellectual property.
5. Your files, storage, and backups
Your projects, media, and storage remain under your control. FrameVault is intended to assist with organization and backup workflows, but no software can eliminate every risk of deletion, corruption, hardware failure, incompatible formats, or user error.
You remain responsible for reviewing FrameVault’s actions, maintaining appropriate independent backups, protecting access to your Mac and storage, and confirming that copied or archived files are complete before deleting original material.
6. Updates and support
We may provide updates, maintenance releases, documentation, or support at our discretion. A one-time purchase does not guarantee every future major version, feature, third-party integration, or indefinite compatibility with future versions of macOS or Adobe Premiere unless we expressly state otherwise.
Support is available through framevault@averiz.com. We may request your purchase ID, version information, diagnostic details, or a description of the problem so that we can assist you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FrameVault or this website to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or misrepresent your identity or purchase status.
8. Intellectual property
FrameVault, including its software, interface, artwork, branding, documentation, website content, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to FrameVault and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license stated above, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrameVault is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every system or project, or sufficient as the sole copy or backup of any file.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrameVault will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or interrupted work arising from use of or inability to use FrameVault.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to FrameVault will not exceed the amount paid for the purchase giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Termination
Your right to use FrameVault may end if you materially violate these terms. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and any obligations that by their nature should survive will remain effective after termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to FrameVault, our business, or applicable requirements. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes will not retroactively reduce mandatory rights associated with a completed purchase.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of FrameVault, without limiting any mandatory protections available to consumers under the laws of their place of residence. Paddle’s terms separately govern the payment transaction between the buyer and Paddle.
