1. Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy applies to the FrameVault website, purchase fulfillment, customer support, and related communications. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to framevault@averiz.com.
2. Information we collect
Purchase and fulfillment information
When you purchase FrameVault, we may receive your name, email address, country or region, Paddle customer and transaction identifiers, product and version information, purchase totals, tax and fee information, discount information, and the FrameVault purchase ID we generate.
Paddle processes payment details. FrameVault does not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code.
Website and device information
Our hosting systems may receive your IP address, request date and time, requested pages, browser or device information, referring page, and security logs. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website activity, such as page visits, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions with the site.
Communications and support
If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, purchase ID, app version, diagnostic details, project context, and the content of your message.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- confirm purchases and deliver FrameVault;
- generate and maintain purchase IDs and support records;
- send purchase information, download links, product notices, and support replies;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and software;
- understand website performance and general usage patterns;
- prevent fraud, misuse, and duplicate fulfillment; and
- meet accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations.
4. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and measure interactions. Google may process information according to its own policies. You can limit cookies through your browser and may use Google’s browser opt-out tools where available.
Blocking analytics cookies should not prevent you from reading the website or purchasing FrameVault, although strictly necessary checkout and security technologies may still be used by Paddle.
Learn more through Google’s Privacy Policy and Paddle’s Privacy Notice.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate FrameVault, including:
- Paddle, our merchant of record and payment processor;
- Google Analytics, for website measurement;
- website hosting, database, security, download-delivery, and email-delivery providers; and
- professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or address fraud.
If FrameVault or its business is reorganized, sold, or transferred, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
6. Legal bases where applicable
Where a law requires us to identify a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform our agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing FrameVault, and obtain consent where consent is required.
7. Data retention
We retain purchase and transaction records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide downloads and support, confirm purchase history, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Support messages and technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International processing
FrameVault and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on recognized legal mechanisms and service-provider protections for international transfers.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to appeal or complain to a privacy authority. These rights may be subject to exceptions, including records we must retain for legal, tax, security, or transaction purposes.
To make a request, email framevault@averiz.com. We may need to verify your identity and purchase information before completing the request. For payment information controlled by Paddle, contact Paddle through the link in your receipt or paddle.net.
11. Children’s privacy
FrameVault is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as FrameVault, our service providers, or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above.
